Quality & Safety
In 1999 the company's General Management began working to implement a quality system in compliance with
the relevant standards, involving all company personnel in this goal. In June 2000, thanks to collaboration
from everyone, SIMIND achieved the ambitious goal of quality system certification in compliance with
UNI EN ISO 9001:1994 standards, issued by the accredited BVQI agency. General Management,
to further improve the company's organization, has decided to conform the current quality system
to UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 standards which are now the highest reference standards for Italy and
the international markets (forecast to be achieved by June 2003). Work safety (both in the workshop,
at the building site and in office activities) is a prerequisite of these new standards. Work safety
is becoming an increasingly important feature in assuring organization quality within the management
of each business process. SIMIND periodically organizes meetings/sessions with professors and experts
in this matter in order to achieve the goal of constant work site safety.
